At Heart Core ABA, the qualifications for an RBT include:
- Education: A minimum of a high school diploma.
- Specialized Training: Completion of a specialized 40-hour training program.
- Certification: Official certification as a Registered Behavior Technician from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Once qualified, RBTs work under the direct oversight of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). They are responsible for implementing personalized treatment plans during 1:1 sessions and must receive clinical supervision for at least 5% of their therapy hours each month to ensure quality and accountability.
