These professionals are certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and are responsible for designing, overseeing, and adjusting the personalized therapy plans that help children build real-life skills.
To earn this credential, a professional must meet rigorous standards, including:
- Earning a master’s degree in behavior analysis or a closely related field from an accredited program.
- Completing a verified course sequence covering essential topics like ethical conduct and behavioral assessment.
- Accumulating up to 2,000 hours of supervised fieldwork under the guidance of an active BCBA.
